The service was friendly and polite, but I was extremely disappointed in the food. I had a ham sandwich with chutney on granary bread. However, it wasn't granary bread it was Tesco's multiseed batch which I really don't like, very dry. In fact I think it was all from Tesco's, cheapest cherry tomatoes, bit of spinich and cucumber for the garnish. Even the crisps were bland. The best part was the chutney. My daughter had a sausage roll and again you could tell it was a cheap supermarket brand which we were charged around a fiver for. My daughter wouldn't eat it. I had a bite and it was horrible. For those sort of prices you expect a decent sausage roll, not just a 30pence reheated supermarket one. My 5yr old wanted some water, but they couldn't provide tap water.... Errr why?? Just overpriced bottled water. I felt absolutely cheated. More than £30 wasted cheap poor...

Came in for lunch after our dog walk and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. It was a hot day so everyone was sat outside the back, so we had the whole inside to ourselves, perfect for our tired dog who just wanted to be out of the direct sun! We were happy to see some vegan options on the menu and opted for the vegan cheese and ploughman's pickle sandwich on granary bread, which was lovely! Soon enough, we found out that they also sell ice-cream so went outside to order from the hatch. The vegan coconut and passion fruit sorbet were one of the best vegan ice-cream I've ever had, and they even had vegan waffle cones!! I would highly recommend stopping...

My wife took me and my parents for a cream tea. The staff were extremely friendly from when we first sat down outside to when we left, after they were due to close, but felt in way rushed to finish off. The service was exemplary, proper home made scones and selection of preserves, the tea was lovely. I would highly recommend going here whilst in Cheddar, they were dog friendly and even offered ours a treat. Customer service at its best. Will be going back again next...

Excellent tea room on the main route through Cheddar Gorge. Very good menu for any time of the day with plenty of gluten free options. We had the cream teas, one gf, both excellent. Very friendly staff who told us they get very busy from Easter onwards so try off peak if you can. They also have outdoor seating and a take away counter. Well worth a visit. Excellent atmosphere surrounded by local memories and antiques. Highly recommended.

Beautiful little hidden gem located in the heart of Cheddar Gorge, found it accidentally, looking for a quick meal with my family. Choosed the cheese sharing platter for two with tea. Just amazing. Served in real quality Porcelain, and the platter was amazing! Three of us couldn't finish it. Service from the manager needs a little bit of polishing but overall 5 star.
