Made a visit to the Food Festival in George Square gardens Edinburgh to see what food & drinks were available. This is always a place we visit during the Edinburgh festival and normally love it but be warned some of the stalls are actively asking for tips when you pay using a card machine. Why would you pay a minimum of 10% on overpriced drinks when it’s not even table service? And as for the “Hot Donut” stall he pressured my partner into paying £2 on top of £5 cost for 3 small donuts a 40% tip for doing naff all. Watch out there’s some...

Really cracking spot during the Fringe! The pint prices are to be expected (£5.60 for Amstel and £7.50 for Moretti). So many different types of spaces to sit and the food vendors are really varied. 2023: it's looking even better than last year. More and varied food and drinks offerings, more seating and exciting mood lighting. Just a great place to hang out and soak up the atmosphere.
