Lochrin Belle - Re-Union Canal Boats — Attraction in City of Edinburgh

We had exhausted options trying to plan a hen-do for 22 people during the pandemic but Re-Union and the Lochrin Belle saved us and became the perfect venue for us last week. The boat was more than big enough in side for our whole party and provided the perfect place to have fun, eat, drink and laugh. The skipper and crew were extremely friendly and helpful during the entire journey and was more than happy to interact with us on this special day.

Massive shout out to Rachel who helped us navigate the ever changing restrictions over the past 8 months as to what we could do and when we could do it. All queries/questions/ideas were bounced off of her and her team which made planning the day an absolute breeze. Given the uncertainty extant in this current world I felt so looked after and mightily impressed at how flexible and enthusiastic the whole team was to make sure we had a great day. I’ve already had guests from our weekend asking on how to book for future events!

Had a great time on board the Millennium Link for my partners 50th birthday celebrations with his family. It was a nice private way to celebrate and something different that suited all ages. The boat was nice and warm and clean and we could decorate it how we liked. There was a CD player to play music and we were served a tasty cup of coffee or tea . We brought cake and some nibbles on board too. The crew were very helpful, punctual and helped make the experience special with the opportunity to have a shot of steering the boat into the bargain. Myself and 4 friends experienced this fantastic canal trip last Sunday. I didn’t really know what to expect but what a brilliant afternoon we had! From start to finish we were had 5 star service from the lovely staff - they were good fun too! The food was delicious and our Prosecco was constantly topped up! The entertainment was brilliant too - DJ then a singer - most of us on the boat were up dancing. We really didn’t want the afternoon to end and thought it was fantastic value for money.
