My sister bought me a ticket as a birthday gift to see Scotland v Wales last weekend Rugby (5 stars) the pain my handicapped sister and I both suffered walking for ages due to a Hospitality tent covering the car parking not great (1 star) for disability access. We saw so many people confused to where to go so we were struggling between going with the flo then against the flo when hospitality revellers were all sent to walk all the way round from drop off, into stadium then sent back round to hospitality entrance and they were not on crutches I am very glad she wasn't in her chair as that would have been too much to be able to access and we would have missed the game my sister buys season tickets, scarves, programmes everything and loves the rugby so do I just couldn't afford to do that hike weekly my health wouldn't stand it very disappointed with overall experience way too hard for handicapable people on crutches to walk for miles for the sake of a fancy tent, there must be plenty of other car parks you can park them in rather than an entrance that people can surely go through ( before you say there is handicapped parking it's a ballot and she has never been able to get in there)I was looking forward to coming back for the all blacks game but not if that entails a hike all round outside then inside the stadium just to get past the tickets and bag check such a badly planned set up so I was generous with a 3 out of five stars that was middle ground between great game and shocking...

Obviously we had a great time at the oasis concerts (7 out of 5 stars event!) and the stadium itself was impressive. It is what you can expect from a big sized stadium.

But is is getting older and the facilities were not up to date everywhere (eg toilets on the rings).

Sound and atmosphere were great!

The surrounding grounds were adequate especially the grass in which you can sit down for a while.

The tramstation nearby is a bit too small for large crowds which became clear upon leaving. The lines to get on the platform were endless. Walking was the best option. Fair enough for this time. Also because of the fine weather.

Getting inside was well enough organised and went quickly.

The food was okay. Multiple choices but a bit expensive.

Getting drinks was organised..... let's say mediocre. Long lines outside the stadium before the gig. Too long.

During the show obviousIy less lines but i believe that people on the field had to go outside the stadium to get drinks! This was a first for me.

And on the ring there was no beertap at all! Staff (who were fine by the way) had to poor beer from cans into pints..... This was not too bad during the main event but is not efficient enough before or after.

Never seen it before and not very modern as well. I guess it's a cheap way of organizing but obviously you sell less drinks and therefor up for debate.

I've been to multiple big stadiums and venues and always there was a more efficient way to get drinks.

Anyway: fine but...

Me, my sister and cousin came to Murrayfield Stadium to see Harry Styles May 2023, we paid for platinum seats and did so because my sister had a back injury and struggles to stand for long periods of time. Getting into the stadium from the tram is an absolute joke, it’s too small to handle the number of people. When we finally made it in, the facilities were disgusting. The women’s toilets had queues up to 30 minutes and once inside were horrible. When we went to the row our seats were on, a woman was stood up visibly very angry with 4 young girls, she told us that someone had been sick all over the seats, and when we checked our seats were covered in it to. The woman spoke to staff who did not care less, the 4 young girls were really upset. Three staff members said, there’s nothing we can do, you’ll just have to sit somewhere else. It was a sold out gig so our only option was to go into standing which was half the price we’d paid for the seats. My sister had to lean against the barrier for the majority of the show. Then trying to leave the venue was a disgrace. Everyone got bottle necked trying to get out, people pushing and shoving and no staff controlling anything. It was actually really dangerous and people were getting very annoyed. This venue cannot handle a sold out concert, they’re clearly only used to having the seating area filled, not the entire pitch area, and it just isn’t safe at all. 100% will not...

Visited here late May for the first gig of the Robbie Williams Britpop 2025 tour. Really impressed with Murrayfield. Very quick entrance through the turnstiles … although maybe slightly worrying how little our bags were checked even though we had nothing to hide! There was a huge selection of food and drinks and all with very few queues compared to similar venues. Toilets were clean and plentiful … certainly for men anyway. Ladies seemed to really struggle but probably due to the fact about 20,000 of them all chose to go at the same time. Most ladies decided the men’s toilets were unisex 😂 What I loved about there was the atmosphere. I didn’t see one bit of grumpiness, everyone just seemed pleased to be there and very friendly. Not sure I’ve come across such a friendly crowd even though some people got VERY wet! We sat in S13 which was thankfully covered by the roof where we were. We were on row AA, about five rows in front of us did get some of the rain. Obviously those who chose to be on the pitch didn’t have any relief from it. 😢 What also really impressed me was the exit plan. A lot of the roads were closed around the venue when everyone spilled out and we were easily able to walk into Edinburgh town. The teams looked exceptionally busy but if you don’t mind a walk I’d just avoid those until nearer the centre. I’d definitely visit here again for another concert I. The future.

Came for the ACDC Concert, absolute shambles!!! Poor transport infrastructure left many people waiting hours for a tram out of the area. The stadium is out dated, many vendors were on the concourse, including drinks and food, also the offical merchandise vendors could barely speak a word of English(makes you wonder if they had a work permit?) which lead to confusion on orders and customers returning to exchange items they had waited over 30mins to get, missing the start of the concert. There is a general no smoking policy in force, like all UK Stadia and indoor venues, which seems to be disregarded and uninforced by any of the security staff, who can't be bothered with dealing with it(above their pay scale I guess) which brought discomfort to many around us. No toilets with in the Stadium meant queuing for a pee for a portaloo, many didn't both and just pee'd outside. Totally let down by what is meant to be the 'Crown Jewel' national stadium of Scotland.
