Nice and sunny but cold in the light wind. Sat with nice coffee at small bistro cafe and took in the area. Very busy both with patrons to the cafe and those using the park areas surrounding it. An ideal place to go on a dry day but be prepared to pay £3 for a small latte and £6.50 for mac n cheese! This cafe certainly has not lost out during covid restrictions but if you want it you'll pay the price. Went down to the park area with my great grandson was busy give the sunny warm evening he played contentedly on various slides an bouncy trampolines even though he's only 20mths. Nice place to go pity cafe was closed as plenty of business was...

It's a nice public park. Good for a morning run, there's a convenient paved path all around the edges of the park. There's a skate park, some outdoor gym equipment all around the park, and a basketball court. Lots of green space for a football game or just to enjoy sun and bbq when the weather is nice. Inside the gardens there is a lot of space to sit down to relax, or one can enjoy a walk around the many landscaped paths. There's a bistro café serving food and drink, and a (currently closed) greenhouse. The Water of Leith runs along one side of the park and includes a gentle water cascade and occasional sightings of otters...

FANTASTIC park and gardens for all age's to enjoy, whatever the weather. What a transformation from the Saughton Park l knew as a kid growing up. ( then it was terrible football pitches you played on, vandalised swing park and a few shrubs at the top end !!! Oh and Saughton Enclosure where if you were good enough, you played a final there ( memories ) ... ) But now, it's a lovely place ! Landscaped gardens, cafe ! Good on the council or whatever trust took the time to reshape a wonderful place for all age's to enjoy, in the heart of the city ! Thoroughly recommend a visit to enjoy the fantastic park, aka the NEW...

Since I've moved into the area, this place has quickly become my oasis of peace, it's beautifully maintained, offers many things to do and see, you can relax inside in the garden of tranquility with Gandhi and Big Mother, hold the torch with Dreamer of Peace statue, use the public restroom, get a coffee and snack, feed squirrels, feed on sunshine and flowers and trees, observe birds at a nearby river stream, explore a herb garden, it truly is a gem amongst Edinburgh Parks and my place to go to when I wanna just sit, relax, unwind or read a good book.

Lokalny Council powinien to zmienić, szczególnie w sezonie od kwietnia do września, kiedy do późnych godzin wieczornych wiele osób odwiedza to miejsce.
