Nice and sunny but cold in the light wind. Sat with nice coffee at small bistro cafe and took in the area. Very busy both with patrons to the cafe and those using the park areas surrounding it. An ideal place to go on a dry day but be prepared to pay £3 for a small latte and £6.50 for mac n cheese! This cafe certainly has not lost out during covid restrictions but if you want it you'll pay the price. Nice place to go pity cafe was closed as plenty of business was...

There's a skate park, some outdoor gym equipment all around the park, and a basketball court. Lots of green space for a football game or just to enjoy sun and bbq when the weather is nice. Inside the gardens there is a lot of space to sit down to relax, or one can enjoy a walk around the many landscaped paths. There's a bistro café serving food and drink, and a (currently closed) greenhouse. The Water of Leith runs along one side of the park and includes a gentle water cascade and occasional sightings of otters...
