Beautiful park. Not the biggest park but perfectly positioned at the edge of town it has everything. Excellent Children play area with fairly new play equipment. Good range of play equipment from young toddler babies to bigger kids. There’s a zip wire. Paddling pool just down the road (have to book via website). River and bridges. Cafe on site selling food to dine in and coffee and cake/ice cream to take away. Public loo. Not a lot of parking but there is a dedicated car park if you follow signs and more parking near by. Immaculate gardens and amazing trees . All in all a really...

I walk my dog here everyday in the morning and afternoon. As a result I get to see the hardworking and dedicated team who maintain and improve this park throughout the year. Stunning flower displays, a nice tarmac path around the outside of the park, some lovely woodland paths that provide some nice views of the town and a good selection of open park grassed areas. The play area is great for young toddlers and older children. It's always clean and already being used which is...

The park is a little gem! There are many people maintaining the flowers and the wildlife in the park and it's one of my family's favourite spots. It's small but offers so much. The flower lovers will be absolutely in love with it, there is a little paths into the woods for walking and exploring, there is a huge playground for the children and even a tea room where you can have hot or cold beverage and and some food. It definitely worth visiting 🄰

A small park that, in the Sumner months, is resplendent in the colourful bedding plant displays. The River Dane forms one boundary with an extensive mature wood bordering the opposite side. There is an excellent adventure playground for youngsters and an historic pavilion that is home to a superb licensed cafƩ/restaurant that welcomes our 4 legged, wet nosed friends! They even serve 'Bottom Sniffer' a bottled beer especially for dogs!!!
