There's never a bad time to go to the Beartown Tap! Always a good time at the Beartown Tap. Great selection of beers, very friendly & helpful bar staff. There's never a bad night to go: whether you go on a Wednesday night for a quiz & a little nibble, or on a Friday night for fantastic street food from different vendors every week. Or you just fancy a quiet drink one night. Lovely bar. Good atmosphere and live music on the Saturday, pleasant surroundings and decent beers though it's a pity there wasn't a mild or stout on. There was a menu on the table so we decided to order something so asked at the bar where we order. Was directed to a hatch outside where we were told they were no longer serving food! It was 8-15pm. You'd have thought the bar staff would have known and why leave the menus which don't have the serving times on them...
