Tilgate park - go ape long walk. Parking fee is £5.50 for whole day but you can’t spend the entire day as many parts of the park is closed due to COVID. Children’s play area is close even though many parks in the country is already open. There is a one way system signs in the park but it is not followed by the public and you don’t see anyone to guide the public. The park looks amazing in many ways. Long lake with swans and ducks looks stunning. Autumn tree leaves looks so beautiful and best time to click some photos. We went for a long walk around the lake but it’s so muddy as it’s raining and slippery at some part. Kids enjoyed climbing on the little trees. They enjoyed shaking the trees where the leaves fell down. Had to walk on the muddy grass as the road was cutdown. Toilet looks clean and social distancing rules followed as per guidelines. Will recommend to go for a walk when it’s sunny you will love it.

I recently spent a day at Tilgate Park in Crawley with my family, and we absolutely loved it! The park offers a fantastic range of activities for kids, ensuring they were entertained the entire day. From playgrounds to boating on the lake, there was never a dull moment. The botanical gardens are stunning, with an incredible variety of plants and trees from around the world. It was both educational and beautiful, making for a peaceful stroll through nature. The animal zoo was a highlight, with well-maintained enclosures and a lovely variety of animals. The kids especially enjoyed the meerkats and farm animals. The vast open spaces and surrounding forest are breathtaking, providing perfect spots for picnics and exploration. It's a great place to escape and connect with nature. Tilgate Park is a gem, offering something for everyone. Highly recommended for a family day out!

What can I really say about it? The park has beautiful scenery for those who want a nice quiet stroll; and is also very nice for dog walkers. I grew up going to the park so can easily say there are a ton of things for kids to get up to, whether it's in the play park, in the nature centre or just messing about in the forest (probably with parental supervision for the last one (; ). There is a restaurant and a smaller cafe there as well so it makes for some nice food if you want to take a break from the walking. All in all its a perfect place to go on a nice day, whether you're a dog walker or if you just want to go and make some nice memories with the family.

A lovely place to visit, especially when it's sunny. The hidden gem of this park is the Nature Park. It is wonderfully maintained small zoo with excellent birds and animals. The entry fee is cheap as compared to any other over-hyped parks or zoo (it is £4 for adults). The tracks to walk are well maintained and it has got good toilet facilities. The food joint there, Smith Bar is a great place to enjoy with friends for Drinks. This place also have children's play area and various nature trails. One can enjoy a peaceful and romantic view of the lake which is present in the heart of the park. In short, fully recommend to visit for a nice, relaxing weekend.

Lovely park with lots to see and do for all the family. The park itself is very big and there are lots to keep everyone busy or simple find a spot to relax and unwind. We usually go in the summer for obvious reasons but I can imagine it to be quite an enchanting place to visit in the winter too, especially with the addition of snow. We took our 5 year old here and she did a lot of walking and scooter riding. Also there is a play area for the kids but it was very busy and not all parents are quite mindful of their own children so some kids were a little unruly but that's their problem, I just looked after my daughter. Overall a great park.
