A huge thank you to Tillgate Bakery. I sent, through you, an afternoon tea to my daughter & her partner & a kids lunchbox to my Grandaughter. You were so helpful on the phone & tailored the order to suit all their needs, gluten free, no cream, plain sandwiches etc. They were absolutely delighted & it was lovely to be able to treat them, whilst not being able to see them. Ultra processed rubbbish! How can it be a bakery if they don’t even make the bread on site?! They buy it in in bulk and often these places fool you by saying they ‘bake it’ on site. Exactly like buying a dry packed ultra processed roll from a supermarket and shoving it in the oven. The ingredients in the sandwich bread are endless with emulsifiers, stabilisers, sugars, and preservatives. Don’t waste your money thinking you’re getting better than a supermarket - it’s a mass produced processed edible substance - not fresh bread...

I ordered 2 boxed afternoon teas from here. They phoned me to confirm and any dietary requirements. The lady was super helpful and polite. I swapped the macaroons out for two sponges.

Each box only cost £10 and they deliver locally within the Crawley area. The afternoon tea was all home made and delicious. We had 1 fruit scone and 1 plain. Jam and clotted cream went down well. Sandwiches were tasty. All of it was fresh. Loved the details of including a serviette and knife.

Would definately highly recommend.
