Ephesus Restaurant Tilgate — Restaurant in Crawley

Honest review. 1st time going to this restaurant/take-away. Food and presentation was top marks but very expensive. Myself personally I would only visit on special occasions. Charged for each drink but no options to have jug of water. No ice offered. There was a slight lack of communication between waiting for starter to main meal.

Colour of restaurant could of been more fresh and relaxing. It was very dark. Paint falling off walls in some areas. Toilets clean again colours very bright Totally different from restaurant theme. I was expecting a more Turkish feel with pictures on wall of Turkey. Maybe reading my review they might take on board comments for improvements.

My waitress didn't introduce herself by name. Not sure if she was fluent English. But her smile was amazing!

I've given a three taking into account everything I saw. No belly ache following day which I normally get from eating cheap meat...

Rubbish customer service and the lady I believe a team leader or manager is always very rude each time we visited. Always in a rush to kick us out rather than allow us to enjoy out meal peacefully. We travel with kids each time and usually that would take more time for customers with children to finish and leave and so they should consider this and not ask us to hurry up and leave even before we have finished our meal. We even pre booked our specific seating space by phone so that we can eat comfortably whilst dining with our 1 year old. However they had not reserved this space and instead only had one space next to the open kitchen (because we can see the oil and sauces sprays as they were packing take aways)and one in the middle between two other table with customers. This would be disturbing for the other customers more than us with our child’s tantrums. Will never ever visit...

We attended this restaurant as a group of 7 we phone in advance to book a table and also 10 minutes before we arrived with our order if they could please start preparing some food as we were very hungry once we arrived there we noticed that they had still not started cooking any of the food as we ordered over 10 different dishes we knew it would take a long time for the food to come out they bought out one meal every 4 - 5 minutes which ruined our meal there was literally no service provided we asked to sit away from the door as it was very cold we were told that that table was reserved whilst we was there 1 hour nobody came and sat there

Unhelpful stuff the £18 cold starter a and some Pink yoghurt

The meals are £18 each and you get very small portion

The £45 platter has 2 chops and a few wings.
