Ordered a takeaway for collection on New Years Eve, knew it would be busy so got in early and specified collection time. My husband arrived early to chaos. Clearly putting profit before good customer service there were about 15-20 people inside, no social distancing, all waiting for their orders, my husband didn’t go inside he waited outside with about another 7 people and called the Cinnamon on his mobile, the attitude was most disappointing, said they didn’t have our order, even though I received a confirmation email which my husband had, and money had been taken from my account, no apology for the fact that my husband would now have to wait outside a further hour and a half in freezing temperatures for our order, just got told well we are busy! To top it off the food when it arrived home was luke warm and we live less than 5 minutes from your restaurant by car. Come on Cinnamon you know how many orders you can realistically push out in an hour but your app clearly allows way over what you can handle cooking to order fresh. We have eaten in your restaurant many times and the food is of a good standard, however we will now look elsewhere, and will certainly not be ordering on New Years Eve again with you. You shouldn't treat your customers this way we do still have choices despite COVID and bad experiences get shared around and damage...
Read moreWARNING - Uncooked food was served and when took it back the owner Mr. Tariq denied anything wrong with the food whilst other member of the staff agreed with us that the parathas weren’t cooked... Mr. Tariq although well dressed but didn’t know how to talk to customer especially an elderly lady.. when we were leaving he started laughing at us with the rest of the staff..I said to him it’s a shame you shouldn’t laugh, he replied that he wasn’t...what a lier...I said to him you don’t need to be rude and then he said just leave...what a low level of customer service.... Also what Tariq said was you can give uncooked food to customers at the restaurant as it’s not cooked like cooked in your home... thanks Tariq for sharing the wisdom.. really appreciate it.. You need to learn a bit of basic manners first...then think about cooked food and if possible some customer relations.. By the way consider the payment of our order as a charity to your restaurant fund...as you didn’t even bother to refund the money paid despite of returning 2/3rd...

Menu ordered: Tandoori roti, vegetable biryani, prawn biryani, paneer chettinad, daal tadka, popodums.
Roti was good, vegetable biryani had no vegetable cooked - you can see me and my friends were not able to eat beans, cauliflower as they were undercooked and kept aside on the plate. Biryani didn't really taste as it said, lacking biryani masala and dripping oil. Can do much better on this. Paneer Chettinad was good. Daal tadka was just fine. Other friend had prawn biryani, his...
