Hangloose Adventure — Attraction in Dartford

First let's get the bad news out of the way - the website is misleading in that only the zipline us currently open, not the swing or outdoor skydiving. I bought an "early bird ticket" for all three activities for me and two teenagers which at £125 still works out at approx £40 per activity ie expensive. This bought me a voucher which you then had to redeem on the website in order to book activities except all the dates were greyed out. After trying to work out if I had done something wrong it dawned on me that the "Coming Summer 2022" label for the swing and skydiving in the website actually meant "Not open yet" - bear in mind this is mid July. Really not clear on the website. So I then had to email customer services who called me the next day and sure enough the swing and skydiving aren't actually open yet. So a simple booking online turned jnto a confusing, three stage process ie buy a voucher, then email then phone call to book the only thing that was open ie the zipline. Hilariously when we arrived it transpired that only I had been booked for the zipline, not my two teenagers as well. Now for the good news, the young lady at the counter I.e Ellie sorted it all out and was lovely as we're all the young staff I met, really impressed by them. The zipline was great fun also. I won't go back until both the other activities are open and I think when this facility is fully up and running with high wire trails etc as well, it will be awesome. But right now be aware only the zip wire is open, the website is misleading, the booking process a hassle but the young staff amazing. Hangloose at Bluewater was an excellent experience for the whole family. We did the Skywire.

They have min and max weights so make sure your lightest child is at least 35kg and the heaviest in your group is less than 120kg, outside these weight they won't be allowed to ride due to safety.

From check in at reception you go around the back to be fitted with your suspending suit and camera option if purchased (£15 per person and decent footage and pictures).

Once suited up you get in a van to be taken to the top of the hill, well not quite. You have to climb a five storey building to get to your departure point.

Once up the top the staff are great, I'm sure for the nervous flyers they can ease your nerves. Once they have taken your weight sticker and scanned your qr code if video purchased (you get these at reception) you are asked to lay on a table looking at the zip line journey. Here they spend a few minutes attaching you to the line and carrying out many safety checks.

Once done you are now hanging from the line so you have time to get used to the sensation before you move. If paid for the photos they take three here via a camera, hand instructions are given (this is to do with your weight).

The next is a countdown and you are flying down a zip line, mega experience, very long line so not over to fast while feeling the speed of descent.

You arrive (with a bit of a comfortable jolt as it slows you down to the lower hut 720M away from where you started your decent !) The staff are here awaiting your arrival to help you out of the suspending harness and helmet.
