The experience started off nicely. Food came and it was oily, and a bit blunt, there wasn't much taste to it. If it was just this though it would have been ok as restaurants aren't gonna have 100% days every day but the reason for the 2 stars is a mixture of the food and the service. As we literally finished eating the waitress came along and cleared our table. Yes she did ask but when she asked her hands had already touched the plates and it made you feel like you couldn't say no, so we didn't. Once the plates were off we the decided to just take the bill, pay and go as there’s no point hanging around with an empty table. It felt like a tactic to kick us out. La piece de resistance was when we paid. The restaurant has on it menu a 12.5% optional service charge and the check came as such with 2 prices but when the card machine was presented only one price was there, the one including the service charge. So basically I feel like money was stolen from me in front of my eyes as I didnt plan to tip after all of that and I didn't want to look cheap and contest her about it so I let it happen and now I’m writing this review expressing my dissatisfaction with the whole experience. Extremely poor and its a shame because if it was just about the food it would have been a just about scraping a 3⭐️ Which would have been much better then a 1⭐️ This particular waitress needs to also chill, as she caused us anxiety with her quick and sudden rushed movements, the restaurant...
Read moreMy first and last time in this restaurant that serve bloody pork gyros.
I had my booking for 6.30pm. They showed my seat and took my orders. Two other people arrived after me and ordered their food after me but they got them pretty quick. I was waiting for like half an hour to get my meal because I called one of the waitresses about my order (it seems they forgot about it, at least her face showed that).
In my opinion I ordered simple dishes in comparison with the people sitting next to me. I ordered pork gyros and calamari. The pork in my gyros had a strange taste when looking at it properly, it was bloody. They served me uncooked pork, I had bitten it before I realised. I called the waitress straight away and showed it to her. She agreed that it was raw, it was quite red. She offered to change it for something else but I declined.
Everyone knows that pork and chicken meat cannot be eaten uncooked because of the Trichinella(parasite in pork's muscle) and salmonella ( bacteria in chicken) that can affect humans quite badly. Because I pay attention when I am eating. Sure other people may have missed this and this restaurant has been serving bloody pork to their customers. It was my first and last time...
Read moreDecided to try this for a late lunch. We sat down and as usual the waiter came over and asked us what we would like to drink and we got 2 cokes (the small bottles). After looking at the menu we decided what we wanted, called the waiter over and he informed us what we wanted wasn't available (which happens from time to time). So we looked over the menu again and there wasn't anything that we wanted (other stuff was too expensive we thought) so we called the waiter over and said we will just go somewhere else as there wasn't anything we fancied so could we have the bill. He just looked so perturbed and got the bill. This restaurant adds a 10% so i asked him to remove it, so he went and reprinted the bill and we paid and left. After about 3 mins i realised i had left my mobile on the table. I went back and spoke to our waiter who just looked at me and said nothing was left, even though our table hadn't been cleaned up. As i was trying to converse with him, the Manager kindly came up to me and asked if i had left my mobile and he handed it back to me. The manager was the star of the show, the waiter...could use some customer service skills or find a different job he enjoys (hopefully not dealing...
