I love french cuisine. I've been to France many times. Cote Brasserie is french inspired and has a great menu. Especially good for my daughter who eats gluten free. Few places have such a wide choice for her. We visited last Friday to the Bluewater restaurant. It's a little bit classy but not stuffy. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming as are the staff. The tables are spaced to give a little privacy. Always super clean and tidy. The food is amazing we had three courses. My daughter started with calamari crispy fresh and tender. I love the chicken liver pate, chutney on warm toast. We moved on with me enjoying Breton chicken with sauce a little salad and chips. You can really taste the difference. My daughter tried the pork belly and was very impressed. And the naughty deserts she had a beautiful chocolate pud with ice cream. I went for the cheese plate 3 different with warm bread finished an amazing meal. The crisp white wine was a great choice and chilled at the side of the table. Now the service was attentive never rushed. The best part for me is that like France you NOT sat fed and pushed out for another sitting. We talked enjoyed the food and wine and the time flew past after two and a half hours we paid our bill. It's a real dining experience. I have nothing problem with the pizza or chicken and chips type restaurants. And I do use and enjoy them. But for a treat or something special Cote will not disappoint. I always feel my custom is valued and I'm made to feel special. The restaurant is enjoyed by all ages. It's a little France here in the UK.

EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much to the grey haired waiter who has the most incredible customer service skills and was so polite and friendly, simply excellent. You made our afternoon so pleasant with your hospitality skills and manners and the fuss you made of us despite it being busy in the restaurant. Even when I had such a fussy friend when he eats out you were so accommodating. Been to many restaurants in my lifetime hundreds if not thousands but this waiter in Cote Bluewater is out of a top fine hotel. The only other place I saw such high polite and warm hospitality skills was in Beverly Hills, California. As for the Italian Manager , you are so polite and incredible with a HEART OF GOLD. The running of the restaurant is what it is because of you my dear and thank you for being you. Your both truly special. The food was truly incredible and mouth watering. The soup, sea bass and cheeseboard out of this world. Even the butter and bread so tasty and everything that was served so well presented. We will be back but returning hopefully next week. I also researched to find out this restaurant is not Jewish owned so If like me you are currently boycotting Jewish and Israeli businesses due to the genocide , this restaurant is not on the boycott list. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR YOUR FOOD AND SERVICE !!!!! ❤️

Our dining experience at Côte Bluewater was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped in, we were warmly greeted by the attentive staff, especially our waitress, Ida, whose knowledge and guidance in selecting our dishes were invaluable. Her expert descriptions truly enhanced our culinary journey. The presentation of each dish was a work of art, meticulously crafted to please both the eyes and the palate. Each plate that graced our table was a testament to the chef's dedication to perfection. From the appetizers to the desserts, every bite was a delightful symphony of flavors. Not only was the food exquisite in taste, but the ambiance of the restaurant also added to the overall charm of the evening. The elegant decor and soothing atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience. In conclusion, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking an extraordinary culinary adventure. With impeccable service, delectable cuisine, and a welcoming atmosphere, it's no wonder this establishment stands out as a pinnacle of fine dining excellence.

First, I must commend your front-of-house staff - they were genuinely kind and lovely throughout our visit. When we expressed our concerns, they listened attentively and showed real understanding of our frustration.

Unfortunately, our dining experience fell short of expectations, particularly with the kitchen's performance. Despite ordering onion soups, bread, steak frites, seafood linguine, and children's pasta with mashed potato, we waited 45 minutes for our food to arrive.

I do feel that by letting us know there will be some delays and maybe offering us more bread or something in between could have eased the entire experience.- COMMUNICATION.

When our meals finally came, several issues arose: our steaks, requested rare to medium-rare, arrived medium-well to well-done. The children's pasta and mashed potato were quite plain, lacking flavor. The seafood linguine was decent but didn't make up for the other disappointments. The overall experience was so unsatisfactory that we ended up visiting Burger King afterward to properly satisfy our hunger.

I want to emphasize that we're not frequent complainers, nor do we dine at upscale establishments regularly. We only spoke up because the kitchen's performance that evening was genuinely problematic.

We appreciated that management took responsibility by reducing our bill by approximately 40%, which demonstrated good customer...

Today, I visited Cote Blue Water at 4:45 approx and ordered a steak for myself and my wife. We waited nearly an hour for our steaks, well before dinner time.

To our disappointment, the steaks were served lukewarm and unappetizing. They were only two medium-rare steaks, with just two leaves of parsley and a white empty plate. Zero presentation.

When I cut into the steak, I discovered that it was cooked rare, despite being ordered medium-rare. I called the waiter and requested a return of the steak, but he refused to apologize. By that time, my wife had finished her steak, and I was left waiting for another steak.

It took another 15 minutes for them to cook another single steak. It was absurdly slow, and I couldn’t understand why it took so long. Frustrated and confused, I asked for the bill and requested that they take the second replacement steak back too since I lost my appetite.

To our astonishment, they charged me the full service charge!

This was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. The management was incompetent, the chefs were terrible, and they didn’t offer any apology or compensation. I left the restaurant hungry and disappointed, only to have chips for dinner.

I will never be returning to Cote Blue Water. Avoid this place at all costs.

By the way, my bill was £57.00 for my wife’s steak and 2 meals for my kids. I ate nothing, what a...
