We always love visiting this pond when we are in Alton. Quick enough to walk around in alot less than an hour and always beautiful wildlife to look at. Sometimes you may get to see a steam train too as the Watercress line is just next to it!

Absolutely love walking around King's Pond. So peaceful here and wonderful photography opportunities. I am disabled and the footpaths are level and smooth. Great place to walk your dog 🐕. Highly recommended for a walk with the family.

Kings Pond is a nice peaceful place to go for a walk or just sit and read, plenty of wildlife to look at such as Ducks, Swans, Moorhens, Herons, Geese. The pond is sign posted on what is best to feed the birds, so if you have young children it is an ideal place for parents to take them to feed the birds. My latest pictures are of the first batch of Goslings and sadly only one duckling, there were about half a dozen but unfortunately they appear to...
