Captain Kids Adventure World — Attraction in East Lindsey

Well what can I say about this place possibly the worst caffe I’ve ever been to specially to say it’s inside one of the most biggiest attractions in Skegness. One positive thing I can say about this place is the children’s playing area is fantastic but when it came to food and the service here was shocking couldn’t believe it how the place was ran me and my family Wanted something to eat we all had a hot dog and chips and a drink each we were the only ones waiting for food and it taken over a hour for 4 meals when the hot dogs came we waiting another 15 min for the chips and there was no onions what we asked for finally the chips came and they gave us a bowl of onions what look liked they been microwaved so we had to pick them with our hands witch is quite out the Ordinary anyways we had to ask again for our drinks waiting another 10 min for them and the food was shocking burnt chips hotdog wasn’t even warm after all that we didn’t even eat it we just picked at it and for 27 pound for all that I wasn’t happy manager was moaning getting high rate because I asked him About the drinks it was a short man with glasses the other 3 staff a lady with glasses and 2 other lads was just chatting at the Till the hole time wasn’t even doing nothing would not recommend gotta be the worst place I’ve...

My friend and I came here with our two little ones, aged 18 months and two and a half. Couldn't pay on card as had to spend over £10, luckily I had cash on me as I don't usually. The lady at the counter told us we needed socks, which was fine. We all made sure we had socks on, then took our little one's on the play equipment. Five minutes later, we heard over the tanoy that the adults weren't allowed on the play equipment. I went to the counter to conform this and ask why to which the lady said "I don't know, I've only been here two weeks." She went and got another member of staff who said it was for insurance purposes and we were allowed in the other smaller, rubbish play area. I asked for my money back to which she replied "there is a sign and you would have been told before you paid" to which I replied we were not told. She rudely said "you would have been told"....by the lady that had been there two weeks and was clueless, I don't think so...don't waste your time, staff are either...

The soft play area in here was really good and the 2 under 4's loved it. But for the adults we had a less than satisfying experience. It was very well priced for the 2 hrs. As parents this was great, but the temperature in the seated area was bloody freezing. When asked if there was any heating I was told with a lack of belief that it wasn't working. The assistant who told me this after finally leaving a conversation with other staff paused and thought, then said it wasn't working, was less than convincing with this excuse. Shortly after when ordering a reasonably priced not the best coffee, to keep my hands warm. I had to wait for a staff gossip to finish. Ordered and paid for my coffee. Staff member went back to continue her gossip, to then turn around and look at me shortly and apologise and go and make me the coffee I'd ordered. Overall.
