Rude, and unhelpful. 19/6/25 8pm put in a mobile collection order and then went to the drive through... Waited at the first speaker window for about 1 min waiting for someone to speak to me so I could just confirm the mobile order number and then move to the next window, Nobody answered so I went to the next window where another car was waiting for food. After 3 or 4 mins of waiting the car infront got their order and I moved to the next window. I quoted my mobile order number to the women and she said I needed to go back to the first window where she would would take my order number over her headset and she looked at me in a strange way, I found this beyond pathetic as if she was managing the first unmanned window via's her headset while also working at the other collection window then why did I have to drive all the way back round to the first window just to then give them my order collection number and then again drive to the second window? also to point out nobody was behind me in the queue either so it wasn't like it interfered with me then being in the wrong place in the queue or messing up any system they were working. Typically as I started to drive out to the carpark and then back into the drive through and back to the first unmanned window someone else just drove in in front of me so then I had to wait for them to place their order from the first window and then wait even longer to then get my order at the second window after already waiting once just because the odd member of staff wouldn't just take my order number at the second window and made me drive back round when it was her taking the numbers anyway. Immature and being awkward for no reason at all. Read moreI recently visited the KFC in Skegness, and it was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. First off, we decided to sit in, thinking we'd get our meal promptly. Unfortunately, it took an agonizing 30 minutes just to receive our order. For a fast-food restaurant, this wait time is completely unacceptable.
When we finally got our food, we thought the worst was behind us, but we were sorely mistaken. The state of the restaurant was shocking. The toilets were absolutely disgusting—nappy bins were overflowing, and it seemed like they hadn't been cleaned in ages. The bins in the store were also overflowing with trash, and the entire place was messy and unkempt. It was clear that cleanliness is not a priority at this location.
To make matters worse, the staff, including someone named Abbie, were incredibly rude and unhelpful. When we needed assistance, they simply ignored us, pretending like we weren't even there. None of the other staff members were wearing name tags, but they were just as unpleasant—rude, standoffish, and clearly uninterested in providing any sort of customer service.
Overall, this experience was a complete disaster from start to finish. I would strongly advise anyone thinking about eating here to reconsider. There are plenty of other places in Skegness where you can get a meal without the dreadful service and filthy environment we endured. I won't be returning to this KFC ever again.
The service is as terrible, the “restaurant” was so unhygienic - reallt surprised their hygiene rating was a 5*. Clearly just for show.
This is a FRANCHISE owned by someone with initials DT - they also own another kfc in Grantham (Harlaxton road) and the reviews and outcomes are also the same here… no wonder - poor management.
If you have great hygiene standards, you would have someone emptying the bins as and when needed and doing a routine check every 1-2 hours to keep on top of...
Read moreUsed the drive through on Tuesday.Ordered food at the 1st Window..proceeded to wait at second window..the order was a regular Popcorn Chicken for our Son,who is Autistic and we were leaving Skegness to return home. Car in front was waiting at Window 2..another Irrate customer waiting at tge window whilst on foot.Who had to retirn his order 3 times whilst we were waiting. Well 35 mins later we were still waiting for our order..no apologies from anyone at KFC at all..could not get out of the driveway as car in front was next to be served. By this time my Son was having a meltdown and we just wanted to leave. I got out of my Car went to.the Wimdow and asked for the Manager.Who I was told was at the back of the Shop doing "Something Admin Based" I told person at window to get the Manager and get an update and come Manage the problem. Then a woman came to the window who claimed to be a Manager..she was so rude and not even apologised for the extended delay.. I did tell her to do something and manage the problem,which am sure she would of known what was going on. She had now customers in carpark as well who had been waiting..another big lad was delivering orders to customers who were stating the orders were wrong for whatever reasons...this Manager was not helpful at all..she should of come out and helped but she was the worse case I have ever encountered..I explained that all I had ordered was popcorn chicken and if one has a child who is autistic and has meltdowns one would understand...it upset my Wife as well who was really sad by the service like I was..
