Goodrington beach is an ideal place for holidaymakers. The northern part allows dogs all year round while the southern section prohibits them from May to September. It is now the only beach between Torquay and Brixham to have a beach manager and attendants. There is a pub in between the two sections of beach and amusements and a very big water slide nearby. Steam trains from Paignton to Kingswear run behind the beach and stop at Goodrington station. There are public toilets at the north end, south end and in the middle of the beach. The views are gorgeous and it's sheltered in the middle of Torbay so the waves are minimal. Not good for surfing but great for playing in the sea or paddle boarding. Read moreIf you’re heading to Torbay and looking for a good beach to spend the day on then I would recommend Goodrington Beach. Having used it when I lived nearby, it’s now my go-to family beach when visiting as it’s got everything I need to hand. Pub close by too which is handy. Sewage outlet not so nice but never really...
