Roundham Head — Attraction in England

"ROUNDHAM HEAD".......With distant pleasant views of 'Brixham', especially scenic when the sun sets, highlighting the colourful street houses, 'Goodrington Beach', 'Torquay'..... The "WEST COAST PATH" takes the visitor over the high hill top, with winding cliff garden paths that lead to 'Goodrington Sea Promenade'.......One is a very steep path for those who are able to use it.......Some even run up this steep path....An ideal location to watch 'Steam Trains' as they negotiate the steep gradients to + from 'Goodrington Rail Station'.......A garden monument also commemorates an R.A.F. Spitfire Pilot who patrolled the area during WW 2....."ROUNDHAM HEAD"......Dog owners are advised by "TORQUAY CLIFF RESCUE", to keep their animals on a lead, as one recently ran off of a cliff + died....." Amazing views and very old trees along the top of the S W Coastal path. A tiered stepped or sloped walkway through planted garden areas that have benches to rest upon and view the wonderful coastline. The walkway leads down, if you choose that route, to Goodrington fishing pier that has beach huts along it and leads along to the beach...

Fabulous cliff top park with zigzag pathways and amazing cliffs. Planted out with fragrant bushes and stately trees. Views across Torbay to Brixham in the south and Torquay in the North.
