I can't give this local chip shop enough credit! Every time I visit I'm always greeted with a cheerful smile from every member of staff and a lovely conversation whilst waiting for my food. Even when I have chosen to order via UberEats, I have had no issue with the delivery or quality of food!

The business cares about how their food is going out because they always make sure to check that the driver has a heatproof bag and checks the order number/driver aligns with the one on system with every single order (I have seen when visiting the shop myself).

The prices match the good-quality of the food that this chippy gives out and is not expensive at all! I will continue...

I recently purchased a bag of chips for £3.30 that was a huge disappointment. Not only were the chips cold and soft, but they were also poorly sliced and unattractively looking. It was clear that they had been sitting around for a while and had lost their crispness. In fact, they were so bad that at first bite, I had to throw them into the bin. I was really looking forward to enjoying a crunchy, flavorful snack, but instead, I was left with a bag of unappetizing chips that I couldn't even finish. I'm extremely dissatisfied with my purchase and would not recommend these...

Stopped off here on the way home as it was one of the only places actually still open at 9pm and was really pleased with the food. The owners were really friendly and chatted to me while I waited for the fish to be freshly cooked. It was beautiful, lovely chunky fish, lightly battered, and the chips were what I would call proper 'chippie' chips! Don't let the area put you off as the service and food were great!
