Laser Raiders — Attraction in Great Britain

Laser raiders at LEGOLAND was a complete waste of time. I queued with my 6 year old for well over an hour in the dark. The layout is deceiving and is made to look like it will take a much shorter period than it dose. The fact that there is a movie playing for the kids in a waiting area gives it away. (we watched the same short movie 3 or 4 times) The ride itself was about 3 minutes long in that time we managed to activate about 6 of the 100's of targets (despite being only a foot away for some of them ) so nothing of interest happened at each stage of the ride(just atmospheric music and a voice telling us to shoot the targets).

When the ride ended my daughter said "daddy, was that it?".

I complained when the ride ended as I felt the ride was faulty , but, I was greeted with indignant staff with not so much as an attempt at an apology to me or my disappointed little girl.

I wish I had spoken to others before visiting logoLand. It was extremely overpriced even without paying for the queue jumping system. They clearly let in more people in than they can provide for as every ride had a 20 to 45min wait with line after line of parents trying not to let their frustration ruin their child's "special day".

I should also point it that our visit was mid March and the weather was poor, so goodness knows what it is like at peak times.

If I could give Laser Raders zero stars I would. LEGOLAND it's self I would give 3 stars but I had hoped for...

Great ride. Queue was fairly long but had kids area where they could watch a Lego film playing on a big screen whilst I queued so kept them entertained. Although the queue route does take you out of site of the kids area for a while which was a bit disconcerting for a family ride so the wife went and stayed with them. Second day we invested in a q-bot which payed dividends, although this ride is a single use pay extra add on to the q-bot which was disappointing.

The ride itself was good fun, you're in a 4 person kart and each have a laser gun to shoot various targets on skeletons, spiders etc. with the aim of trying to get the highest score.

We waited for an hour and half and as we were near going on ride it wet technical again. We were so hot with 3 children under five. In the end we had to give up as we were informed there will be a long wait. So wasted nearly 2hours on this ride. Actually I'm very disappointed with Legoland. The first rude we wanted to go on was the boats. Close d first thing with technical issues. Then queued up for Lego train for 25 mins and that went technical too. Such a totally waste of time. VERY DISAPPOINTED...
