Monkey Beach Swanage — Attraction in England

Small, but brilliant piece of beach.

Great for launching your paddle boards, easy to head under the pier, or across the bay.

I am told it’s called Monkey beach as monkey boats (small boats) from the larger boats docking in the bay all landed here

Bit disappointed as the tide was in all the way to the sea wall and this was the only dog beach so check ahead before coming over. However, there is a lovely park behind it and a heath further up. Parking is another tussle with a parking app. Why can't you just tap a card on the parking ticket distributor?? So much...
