Typical seaside cafe in many ways. Small, cheerful enough. Run by a young staff on the day we visited, they were friendly young people. Dogs welcome which suited us. Food quality really varied - Dec Bap looked superb and was devoured by our daughter but the fish finger sandwich was made with 'value' products and the fish fingers were a bit burnt which was disappointing. Asked for mayo as there was no tartare sauce, got given a jar and a spoon which reflected a lack of training around table service even for a cafe. Overall it wasn't great value for money or the best dining experience for tourists, we probably wouldn't come back. Lots of rough edges that could easily be smoothed out to improve...

Now the important bit the rolls.
Great thick cut back bacon, properly cooked sausages not just dropped in a fryer but grilled, egg yolk just gooey but firm enough for a bap. The roll was clearly from a local Baker and fresh with a dusting of flour.
Amazing wish all cafes were the same, will be back. Oh and another customer was having the all day breakfast takeaway let's just say I know what upgrade I am getting next...
