Sandgate Castle — Attraction in Folkestone and Hythe District

A Napoleonic martello tower added later. It is a private home but the owners must love the history as they have replica cannons on specific places and the date is clearly marked...

Not open to the public so you can only walk past to look at it. An old battery fort built during Henry VIII's reign and a couple of later monarchs stayed here/rested for a while.
