Lovely little outdoor cafe. Situated right on the seafront with lovely views. They have thought of everything; blankets on the back of chairs for customers to use on chillier days, binoculars and sunglasses to borrow if needed, a paper to read, flowers and painted rocks on the little tables, umbrellas and sun shades over some of the tables, lovely food including gluten free options, helpful friendly staff and great food. Our sandwiches were served with a small side salad and an individual wrapped hand wipe on the side. There are clean toilets at the back of the building including disabled toilet. You can give your mobile number and get a daily one word weather message & photo on WhatsApp...if you receive a message it means they are open. Highly...

I have visited The Boat House several times and the food and service has always been excellent. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The sandwich menu is on separate plaques which hang next to the hatch, which is a nice touch, as it is easy to see what is still available. They can often be found open later than other cafes in Sandgate. Make use of the rocks provided on the tables, as it can get a bit windy and light items such as crisp packets and napkins...

First time visiting, but left very impressed how much they care about customers, food, drink and environment. I guess he is the owner, he even swept rocks away, as we arrived with doggy and she doesn't like walking on the rocks... thank you and will be coming back. Also want to mention that is beautiful rest spot on your walkabout the sea and you can't get better view, emergency sunglasses and smiles šŸ˜Ž see you soon everyone...

Walked along front from Folkestone and spotted Boat House offering bacon and Brie roll … but also noticed crispy fish finger roll😱 being indecisive we ordered one of each and shared… definitely worth it! It’s not what people expect as ā€˜fast food’ but it’s hot fresh and tasty … and served with a smile! The weather was great so sitting outside on front was also part of a great experience! Thank you!!

Always good to stop for a good coffee, latte, or a mocha with a fresh tasty Danish. Staff are v friendly. Love the little tables, with vases of flowers, throws on the back of the chairs incase the wind blows, plus a decorated stone on the table to avoid a napkin disappearing along the beach. A little piece of peace and happiness in the sun, or even on a windy day.
