My brother-in-law and I recently had a fantastic experience taking a barista and latte art lesson here. They typically don't offer this class to non-baristas/trainees, but I think they should definitely advertise it as it would make a great gift. Our barista, Steve, was an incredibly knowledgeable and patient teacher, and he makes a mean cortado!
We both managed to create decent renditions of a monk's head and tulip latte art patterns. We also learned a lot more about the brewing process, temperatures, coffee beans, and the best type of milk to use. Steve expertly answered all of our questions with ease. We both left feeling energized (which might have been the caffeine!) and eager to learn more and improve our coffee skills.

We also got the beans we enjoyed the most to brew at home. Food wise, we regretted not trying the toastie, but the pastries were pretty good. Personally, I enjoyed the cruffin (strawberries & cream mmmm!) more than the dense buns.

The vegan sausage rolls are to die for and the vanilla buns are definitely a family favourite.
