Visited with my family mid afternoon and could not believe the different groups of kids drinking out full size bottles of vodka and smoking drugs openly in front of other adults and children in the playground and park areas, shocking. Also an old man sitting with golf clubs at the crazy golf area, drinking from a wine bottle with lager at his feet, he was completely paralletic. When I visited the playground with my family on my previous visit, there were young kids sitting on the play equipment openly smoking god knows what with young toddlers playing beside them, what if one of the young children picked up drugs and put in their mouth! Would not recommend Forfar Loch Country Park to anybody, did not even trust leaving my vehicle in the car park with the amount of dodgy people hanging about. Police need to patrol this park daily to stop this kind...

The walk itself around the Loch with little legs takes about an hour. It is dog friendly and there are bins sporadically dotted about which is a bonus. The path is maintained so really user friendly for prams, wheelchairs etc.
There is lots to see with the wetlands and surrounding areas. There are often swans, ducks and other wildlife on the water to keep kids entertained.
Well...

There is a lookout point and seats situated around the loch. There is also fitness equipment on the way around. Three beginning and end of the walk are the only paths that would be suitable for people with access issues as the middle is uneven/rocky/muddy, a shame really. If there is a councillor reading this please make it accessible so that everyone...
