Rodden Meadow — Attraction in Frome

Well-used public nature amenity along river Frome going upstream beyond Willow Vale... Good for dog walks, splishing in the river (when not in spate). Got super-popular in COVID and since then gets super-muddy whenever it rains. I've seen buzzards and kingfishers. Others have seen otters. Policy of letting the grass grow tall in summer encourages butterflies. Occasional low-key events. Benches for chewing the cud...

This is a quiet, natural enjoyment for humans and animals. Lots of birds chirping away and squirrels collecting on their familiar routes. I wish dog owners could teach their dogs not to chase the squirrels. Why should humans always disrespect nature by dropping all their litter just where they are, there is litter bins. Let's work together to keep the place...
