Feeling very very disappointed. Decided to go here for our anniversary having looked at the menu online. Got there and was handed a paper menu where prices had been put up. Wasn't offered water nor any condiments which was a 1st... We ordered the rack of lamb which was more like a saucer of lamb. Mostly fat and and the mashed potato was barely there 2 spoonfuls 3 at most. I asked the waiter is this all the mash she confirmed yes that is the portion. I then asked for a plate of chips which she was very honest about and said they are very small portion also "half a bowl" so i didn't bother. Lamb was edible though not seasoned or marinated. For £19 per dish I expected much much more. I had high expectations considering the reviews but will not be back here in a hurry.

Yesterday we celebrated my friend's birthday party. It was 15 of us. When we came the waiter greeted us in a very strange way. We were like okay, we have an interesting waiter it will be fun but after a while it got a bit strange. I asked him how long the guy will be singing, he replied: 'I hope he goes soon as I hate Michael Bublé'. I don't know what happened next but he pulled a wine opener with a sharp bit up and said: 'I will stab you. I know I know I am a bad waiter and walked of'. I was so in shock that I could not say anything. When he brought the cake and started cuting, he said: 'I am killing your cake right now'. I didn't feel safe at all. Because of this reason I will not come back again.

Amazing quality food, all with top quality fresh ingredients at a good price great ambiance and fantastic staff who are happy to help, even the pizza chef was lovely to our son who had a million questions for him. Can not recommend this place highly enough. Their new premises in high street has been beautifully done and is fresh spacious clean and inviting. Do not confuse this beautiful place with the old one in king street which has nothing to do with them anymore xx Congratulations to the entire team on not just providing decent food but a great experience when we visit!! We love visiting you and have been customers for years and will keep coming back xx

I seldom take the time to write restaurant reviews but I am simply amazed by the friendly atmosphere, exceptional food and attention to detail shown by Gino and his team at Julius Caesar. At Christmas they looked after my lively work Christmas Party without any fuss and went above and beyond to make sure that we had a brilliant night. I have since returned on many occasions and I am proud to bring colleagues and friends down from London to dine here. Everyone that I have taken here has been complimentary about the freshness and quality of the food. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. - You won't be disappointed!

Always one of my favorite restaurants in town, but you have to make sure to eat at the one on High Street It is the original one even though they have moved and the food is much better at this location. They are always willing to make a sub or cook something for you that might not even be on the menu. I recently had lunch here with a friend and we both had the mixed grill and neither of us could finish it. We probably should have just shared one. The staff have been here for years and they always have a smile with great service. It's a great place to have a quick meal for one, lunch for two, or get the whole group together.
