Kids love this park. Just a shame some parents / dog owners think it acceptable to bring dogs into kids play area, let them poop in kids play area, and let put dogs in swings. It's disgusting as little ones go on then and dogs butt been over them. Then gets angry and swear at parents when they object. The tennis courts can be quite busy at times and a cafe which opens at various times, also local bicycles can be picked up or returned here. Now there is the new bridge linking from Victoria Promenade lower entrance to the new university buildings. Certainly worth a visit...

Walking on the canalside embankment leads to interesting places....
