Not a great experience here yesterday unfortunately after we were looking forward to this all day. My girlfriend kindly booked for us to go and play this unique UV mini golf course which was supposed to end a lovely day out that we had in Brighton. We first tried to ring them to say we were running a tad late but there was no answer. When we arrived at Marina Square we couldn't find where it was as there were no signs saying where the place was. We asked a friendly member of staff at Marina Square to which he said "If I had a quid everytime someone asked me", which proves my point. When we found Globalls there was quite a long queue. My girlfriend walked up to the front of the queue to apologise for running slightly late and query about the booking. 3 members of staff ignored her and when they got her attention they said that they didn't care that we had booked, tried calling etc and had to wait at the back of the queue. As the queue moved a friendly member of staff came and scanned my girlfriend's booking on her phone, and escorted us inside. We were told that we were on the Aquatica course and wait til someone tells us to go in. The pair of us were stood like lemons for some time and in the end we gave in and just went into the course. We had some rowdy, immature and thoughtless teenagers (16-17 years old) in front of us, we asked them twice to step off the golf levels that we were on and as we were approaching the end of the course, there was a ball pit and these immature teens just jumped in there and were throwing balls at eachother holding us and people behind us up, the alarm went off, presuming that meant for them to stop this ridiculous behaviour but they carried on a bit, as I approached the second to last level on the course these idiots swung their putter so hard that one of their golf balls almost hit me in the face. We went to complain to a member of staff when we left the course and she went to get her manager. We waited for quite some time, once again stood like lemons which I think is very rude and not good customer service at all. She finally approached us and when we explained everything that had happened she told us that there is someone who comes into the courses every 30 minutes to see that people are behaving themselves, this couldn't be right as we were in this Aquatica course for more than that time. We were offered to go on another course in the building but this wouldn't have been fair on other customers queuing up outside, no refund not even a discount and nothing on the email nor website that says if you're running late to your booked slot you still have to queue which the manger argued otherwise. Really not a good experience and we don't recommend this to anyone, plenty of other great things to do...

The kids had loads of fun, and the aquatic journey finishes with a deep ball pit 🥰 all the more fun to be had going through it.
It does seem hard work trying to get through it all and everyone have a turn (10) of us! With a small group (3) behind us on our tail for us to speed up!
Not sure if timing we're just out on this day as it seemed to take a while to receive the bunny ears, glasses ect for the children so by the time we were starting the next group were already there waiting to start too...
As a suggestion maybe the parents or adult of the groups read out the rules when you have a large group of children!? Means people aren't stood in the door entrance taking up the locker space and it means that cashiers aren't flustered in trying to get people to listen, over all I don't think it would normally take 35 minutes to start but certainly took us that amount of time to get to playing.
Edit... (Unable to reply to the response) - we were going 5 people per hole, as a group of 10, 4 adults and 6 children. Which means that the first group had 3 children plus 2 adult and the second group had 2 adults and 3 children... and yet still had a smaller group right behind us, none of us adults managed to get all turns as the pressure was felt to move along. Also to note the children ages ranged from 4 upwards the group behind us was 2 adults and 1 children who was about 8. They will be quicker than either of our groups we formed.
Also to add, all of the glow products were ordered online along with our tickets but still had to be made there and kept us from getting into playing for 35 minutes after arriving. Which in turn created the next group to be right behind us. The only thing we got at the checkout before starting was lockers. Which we did not see online to arrange pre arrival?
I'm not complaining however do feel the need to correct your response as we did everything correctly to the rules. (You physically can not fit 10 people stood around 1 game hole, especially children who aren't going to want to stand there waiting for everyone to...
Read moreWe were disappointed and underwhelmed with our experience.
Having enjoyed other indoor golf courses (Junkyard) we were excited to get to the Marina and see Globalls. From the outside it looked vibrant and fun, "UV Mini Golf, Games & Cocktail bar".
Having entered we were informed there were different themed rooms/courses. We asked the girl working if she had any recommendations and were surprised by her response; she couldnt provide any having not done them!! She did mention a slide and a ball pit but went on to say part was closed, it got a little confusing. She did stress that it was dark within, and warned us of potential hazards etc. We opted for the "Jurassic" themed course.
The entrance to the course had the appearance of the Jurassic Park gate (We could have been on the film set or in Universal Studios) we were so excited at this point. We entered to find we were face to face with, I believe, the Dilophosaurus (scared me in the films)
The UV aspect with the rainbow dinosaur sculptures was amazing, however the actual course was rather bland and dull. I would not have described it as dark, in fact alot lighter than I envisaged, one of our balls illuminated with the UV, the other did not. One of our balls got stuck in one point and we had to scrabble on our knees, using our putter to try and find it. There was no immersive feeling, no atmosphere whatsoever and a funny smell lingered. During the time on the course no one else joined the room.
I appreciate this is not advertised as a Crazy Golf, so perhaps from my great experience of other indoor golf courses, my expectations were way too high.
Overall, great Sculptures and a great position near to Brighton Marina however for us NOT great value for money (£8.95 each), rather boring in terms of mini golf courses, lacked the fun that drew us in from the outside appearance of the place.
We never discovered what 'Games' referred to and decided against finishing with a cocktail as the Cocktail Bar was empty each time...
