Surrounded by trees and high walls this is indeed a lovely garden, and it’s now opening on Sundays, together with a café serving sweet and savoury snacks and – hurrah! - filter coffee. Focus of interest at the moment is the hollowed out trunk of one of the Preston Twin elms. It’s an impressive sight, and promises to become ever more interesting through the attentions of a local artist. A delightfully tranquil spot hidden away on the edge of Kemptown. Semi wild in spots and with some exotic shrubs. The facilities here are shortly to be given a huge upgrade. The garden will be used for weddings and other events...
