Great facilities for children of all ages. Unfortunately the service lets it down. When we arrived, the lady took the money, said sign in, and walked away, leaving us to scrabble around for a pen and waiting to get through the gate. When we ordered drinks, the gentleman behind the counter barely acknowledged us and just grunted in response. All of a sudden we were told it was shut and we needed to leave (2 hours before the advertised closing time.) I understand play areas are hired out for private parties, and have no issue with being told it was closing early but when we asked why it was closing we were snarled at about a notice in the door. As we left we spotted the notice but the door was open against the wall so didnt stand out as we arrived. Again, I have no issue with the early closure, but could it not have been mentioned on arrival when we were paying full price only to be kicked out 40...
Read moreHIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I've been to a few soft play places, being a parent for 8 years, and I have to say that Planet Play in Knutsford is one of the better ones. We (my family and I) went there the Sunday before school restarted after the summer holidays and we went around lunch time so we ordered the 'Prime Burger' (which comes with fries) 2 coffees, 2 mixed slushies and an extra portion of fries. Well, the fries were done to perfection, crisp and golden-brown on the outside and fluffy on the inside the burger itself was thankfully not served in a brioche bun (what is with that anyway?) It didn't contain processed (or plastic) cheese the burger patty had a home made texture the bacon was well cooked, nice crispy edges and the bbq sauce was a nice touch. The Coffee smelled strong and robust although tasted a little weak...less dilution please but other than that a...
Read moreNot too big not too small. Can easily see the kids in most parts of it, as the seating is centrally placed. Food is nice. Staff are generally very good. Sometimes its really quiet, sometimes it's really busy. Plenty for kids to do for a couple of hours. They also have an after school deal where you can play and have dinner there for around £7. Admission is £5 for unlimited time, so it's a really good deal. I often take my kids in the morning and let them stay as long as they like. Finally, the slush drinks are nice too - my kids always want them as they are leaving to cool themselves off :) they always come in interesting cups that you can are home, so ensure you have £3...
