The island is tidal twice a day. Built in 1867 following a suspension bridge was built with the original footbridge ran from 'Rocket Rocks' over to the foot of the newly constructed workmen's sheds on the island. 1st Sep 1868 the Editor of the Tenby Observer receives letter of complaint over 'naked men jumping off it'! ย ย ย Read moreWhat a quaint place to visit . We booked our stay here for 4 nights its not what I would call a normal camping/ caravan park. It is very retro , as you drive in to it there's an almost a little town of out buildings dressed out with all sorts of vintage bits and pieces . I have never stayed in such a quite campsite, as I've always found them to be loud and over crowded, but here there's a maze of little out crops , or hamlets for 2 or 3 tent/ campers at most . Will is a gentleman and is always around doing something to the building or maintaining the many flowers and plants, giving it a very quirky but well present venue . Thanks Will , well be back again, ...
