We came to have a nice coffee and breakfast.... but it was the worst coffee and breakfast we've probably ever had ! We ordered a cappucino and a flat white which both came in super large cups and tasted like milky water with a dropp of coffee, it was the worst coffe I have ever had ! So after having just one sip I told the waitress that the coffee wasn't good and that it was not a flat white to which she said okay and took it away... no sorry nothing! Then we proceeded to have our breakfast, which was no good. My partner had a qube brunch which was not cooked fresh so he only had a few bites from and I had the eggs benedict.... which had a quarter of a ham on each muffin.... seriously?! Upon receiving the bill I saw that the (coffee) was not removed as I had returned it so I questioned the waitress about it and so she went to speak to the manager and the manager was aware that we weren't satisfied but at no point came to speak to us or apologise for it. The waitress then proceeded to inform me that they only had large cups to serve a coffee in so I believe whether you order a latte cappucino espresso or anything else ut will just be filled up to the max of the cup which makes no sense. So to conclude the coffee is awful, the manager need training in customer service and there needs to be a basic barista training given to the staff. It was a real shame as the place has beautiful decor and atmosphere eith a lot of potential. Also the average cost of this awful cup of coffee is £3.70 which is more expensive than the most...

Okay, to be fair we visited just as they reopened after lockdown and they had new staff. I have to also say that I've had good meals here before but my experience wasn't that great this time around. We had pre-booked so went straight in to the door and were greeted by the question "Have you spoken to Gill?" I am chatty and I speak to lots of people but 250 miles from home I wasnt sure if I knew a Gill. The first thing any restaurant should do is get a drink to you straight away I'm not sure if tenby didn't get that memo but it happened at 3 restaurants that we waited well over 20 mins to get a drink and then we're ordering it with our food. We sat with empty glasses during our meal too. I had a sea bass fillet full of bones. When I mentioned it I was told I should have said earlier and they could have replaced it. Sorry, my fault!! I like to eat with my partner and we'd waited an eternity for it to arrive and mostly without a drink. I said just make the chef aware. They kindly took money off the bill and said it was out of their hands because they were supplied pre filletted. So that burst any concept of fine dining. Like I said it was a busy time, bank holiday week and straight after reopening so bear that in mind and give them a go. My partners food was good, the menu choices are good our waitresses were very nice but it does feel a bit like a tourist churn more than the last time...

I agree with other reviews about food quality. You pay high prices here and the food was disappointing. Our problems began before we even arrived. Despite making our reservation weeks in advance, we were contacted on the day of our booking and asked to preorder our meals. This was apparently due to an oversight on their part in not requesting this information earlier, this wasn’t an issue, however we were told that preordering would "save time," but this proved not to be the case. Upon arrival, we found our table for eight set up in three separate parts, requiring us to rearrange it ourselves. More disappointingly, despite preordering, our starters took over an hour to arrive. We had to ask the waitress where our food was and by this point, we were so hungry that when she returned immediately (had it been sat out and forgotten?) with our food we ate it even though it was cold, as we couldn't bear the thought of waiting for replacements to be prepared. The quality and value of the food were also concerns. The Caesar salad lacked essential ingredients and was overloaded with sauce, the prawn sauce was excessively heavy and reminiscent of takeaway food, the rice was crunchy, and the mussels, while enjoyable were paired with soggy bread. 4 out of 8 of our party ended up with upset stomachs after dinner. Given the prices charged, we expected much...

Honestly I just thought it was overpriced nothing wrong with the food but at £15 for the Gourmet Burger was expecting something top notch and got something that was pretty average. Have seen other reviews with nice chunky golden chips but ours came with thin take away fries which were OK but nothing special. The Brioche bun was OK the cheese was there, the burger patty was decent but it just didn't feel worth the price and either the gourmet burger should be gourmet with gourmet ingredients or they should drop the price and just serve it as a burger! Other reviews are good and some of the other food looked very good perhaps we ordered the wrong thing! The place was nice, staff were good and we were seated and served quickly so good points there!

For the price of the food it was just OK. I think either lower the prices or increase the quality. An example very small bowl of chips, in a slightly larger than a Ramekin bowl was £4. The seafood platter had just 2x prawns. The lasagne was probably the most disappointing, small and unlike other lasagne absolutely no veg in the sauce and not at all generous with the meat. Tasted like tomato pasta. The chicken curry was very tasty and a decent portion. The chicken wasn't cooked in the sauce rather added just before it came out, still tasted good. The child meal was OK. If you are looking for value for money, I would perhaps consider somewhere else.
