Sky Reach High Ropes — Attraction in Great Dawley

My nervous 11 year old and i went to telford sky reach today. We had the most amazing time.. Hugh looked after us as soon as we arrived and throughout the course. He gave us all the safety breef and called out encouragement. He also came to help my little girl when she couldnt do one of the ropes obstacle and helped her back in.

He took us up to the top course. My little girl wanted to have a go but was so scared. He attached himself to her harness, held her hand and gave so much encouragement. He was truly amazing with both children and adults. My little girl didnt want to stay at the top so we went back on the lower course.

We cant wait to come back very soon. Hugh and all the staff were so friendly, amazing place, so safe.

I’m usually quite good at these but I visited right after some very heavy rain so couldn’t grip on the metal wire. Bruce was very patient with me as I skidded along and very kindly pulled me across a gap I couldn’t clear :)

I was on the course for about an hour, apparently the average is 90 mins but I was alone for most of it so never had to wait for a section to clear. The jump/abseil at the end literally is just a particularly fast auto-belay which was a pleasant(?) surprise! This course also features a dual locking carabiner with key system that is often more difficult than the actual obstacles but it’s actually quite fun to complete a little metal puzzle while standing...

A great place for a little adventure. I took my step daughter today who is 8, she was incredibly nervous, I honestly cannot speak highly enough of the 2 staff members there while we were on the high ropes, Chloe and Chris. They were both lovely and very welcoming. Chloe saw how nervous my step daughter was and came out to us on the course, she stayed with us and she was great, really helped to build her confidence and got her moving around the trees, absolutely brilliant with children. Nothing was too much trouble for both staff and I'm extremely grateful for their help today. The course itself is also really good and well worth the money. I highly...
