Favourite escape room so far. We did Venus ( and AI based room) really enjoyed the interactivity (and slightly bullying the staff through the AI system). Can't recommend enough, Mitchell was great fun and added to the experience really well. The room itself was well designed with extra discoverable elements. Really good puzzles but on the trickier side, I wouldn't recommend doing this room with less than 3/4 people as many rely on movement or communication across the room. The AI adds a lot and is a good challenge to experience escape room players as some of the feedback may or may not be truthful. Have played 2 rooms here and all have been very well set up, very immersive with their own theming. Good methods to receive clues too. They are quite physical rooms but nothing crazy, just some running about. Not claustrophobic at all though! Amazing fun, want to go again already!

Had heard good things about Paradox and the storyline of the Venus game sounded very different to most common games you are likely to encounter. This was our first visit to Paradox Palours, we played as it was my birthday and I would definitely return to try the other games based on this experience. The puzzles were cleverly linked into the story and were mostly technical based but the interactivity of the AI in there definitely adds a new dimension to the game. Playing as a team of 3 was probably just about right as there wasn't a huge amount of puzzles, but some just took a little more figuring out. The space isn't that large but likewise is fitting with the theme and didn't hinder the game (with a small team). I really enjoyed my visit and would like to thank our games master too, who made us feel welcome both before the game and after. Date of experience: April 2024

We did the Venus AI escape room and had a great time. We played as a family for a combined birthday and mothers day celebration. This was the second Paradox Parlour escape room we had tried (we did the Wizard one in Woking last year). We've done quite a few escape rooms over the years and these are some of the best we've done. We'd heartily recommend them. It's impressive how much work has been put into creating them. Really good value for money. There were a lot of puzzles to solve to beat the AI and it was fun how it fought back against us. We won in the end though with a completion time of 38:49 which we were really chuffed with.

Best escape room ever! My family (myself, my wife, kids aged 14 & 9) have done quite a few escape rooms together and I have done more with other friends over the years. But without a shadow of doubt this is the best room I have ever done. We booked the Venus escape room as we had heard good things about it, and I am glad we did! The room itself seems quite small when you walk in but it has some hidden sections to it that make it bigger and better. Kieran and Harley were our hosts and made us feel very welcome and explained everything very well. But its the 'Artificial Intelligent' Venus that made the room extra special, there isn't any other room like it (that I know of). Its funny, it kept the kids busy and laughing all the way it does other things to but I really don't want to give anything away. All I can say is if your looking for a funny, challenging, well themed escape room - ESPECIALLY WITH CHILDREN - then you can not go wrong with Paradox...
