This was once the hilly grounds of a large house. To the reviewer who said they would not call it a ‘park’, suggest looking the word up in a dictionary. It is a park in the original sense, i.e. ‘A large enclosed piece of ground attached to a country house’, although, despite the cowpats, it also fits the more well-known definition: ‘A large public garden or area of land used for recreation’ (in this case ‘area of land’ would apply).
