Pizza Di Napoli — Restaurant in Hertsmere

Ok so I ordered pizza from here on the weekend and it was very disappointing. The problem for me is Italy and especially Naples are famous for wood fired pizza but the quality is in the ingredients, dough and cooking. Di Napol Pizza - first the dough is like a flat bread too many poor ingredients and as the dough is thin it cannot be cooked to perfection so you get a floppy pizza even the box is wet. No proper spongy cooked dough. Too many topoings perhaps and no seasoning/herbs ..ultinately not how mam use to make or really no love in a local business who should ber serving the community to make sure people have an experience away from the large oven pizza outlets. This is the third/fourth time to order from here over the last year so given them a fair try I feel but the last experiences has lead me to write this review. I wish I had taken photos to show you. Worse the delivery driver has obviously put the pizzas on the driver seat so they have moved and the pizza arrives almost wet. Poor and horrible experience and we threw most of the wet pizza away! Honestly on me checking and trying the local outlets the best wood fired pizza locally (10/15 mins drive) is Olivettis in Gordon Hill - only draw back they only do local delivery so most times you have to collect but 100% worth it! I have ordered from here before as was OK. However, today we placed an order for lunch when family where around before we went out after 30 minure s we got a call from the driver to say he can't find my house. He then called again and again and when I asked where he was he just kept saying yes. The Pizza arrived after an hour cold and soggy. Then said we could have fresh ones but would be 45 minures. As we was going out we had to get food on the way. They made it really hard to get a refund. They would not refund to my card and kept saying it had expired although has two years left in the card and worked an hour and half ago when paid for it. They said they could drop cash to me, then changed their mind. Then told me I have to go in to collect it. I'm very disappointed with the staff and the way they handled any complaint. Will not...

Had a large pizza order placed for a party, great organisation, delivery on time, and everyone loved the pizzas. All tasted amazing, super fresh and hot. Highly recommended for large events if you don't want to cook and want something great to eat that everyone will love. Very easy to contact, very helpful lady Lisa advising on what pizzas where good and quantities to order for number of people. Safe to say there was not a single slice left at the end of the night.
