Horsham Park is a wonderful green space that offers something for everyone, making it the perfect place for families, walkers, and anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors. From the moment you step into the park, you’re greeted by wide open lawns, beautiful gardens, and a sense of calm that makes it ideal for both relaxation and recreation.
For families, Horsham Park is especially appealing. There are plenty of facilities for children, including a large and well-equipped play area that keeps little ones entertained for hours. The open spaces are perfect for running around, playing games, or even enjoying a family picnic on a sunny day. There’s also a skate park and sports courts for older children and teenagers, adding to the variety.
For those who prefer a quieter pace, the park offers lovely walking routes with well-maintained paths. The gardens are beautifully landscaped, with seasonal flowers adding colour throughout the year. It’s a fantastic spot for a leisurely stroll, exercise, or simply sitting on a bench and taking in the surroundings.
Horsham Park manages to be both lively and peaceful, with a welcoming atmosphere that makes it a real asset to the town. Whether you’re visiting with children or just enjoying some time outdoors, it’s a place you’ll want to return to...
Read moreOur most favourite park in Sussex. We live about 20 miles from it, but still, each year we head out there with the kids, and each time we have a wonderful time. There are so many things to do/see/hear/smell/explore we usually don’t even have enough time to do all things we wanted. There’s the playground with such a wide variety of equipment, there’s an outdoor gym (two, in fact), there are the scented gardens, the maze with a statue of a dragon in the middle of it, there is an outdoor ping pong table, band stand where you’ll occasionally hear live music playing. There is a cafe near the bandstand and also another one within the pavilion. There’s a little pond with swans and ducks etc. You can play ball games on the wide fields. Benches for eating your lunch… there are probably a few more things that I’m forgetting to list. I love this park and the journey to Horsham is always...
