Springfields Hotel — Hotel in Horsham

This small hotel was a perfect fit for me. Despite its modest outward appearance, it is bright and modern inside. My room was among the smaller (#8) but had everything I needed. Plenty of outlets, nice lighting, comfortable bed, and a very nicely appointed bathroom. Breakfast every morning was made to order, delicious and hearty. It isn't air conditioned and it was warm at times, although the fan and lower temperatures at night were perfect for sleeping. The staff were warm and helpful, both before and during my stay. The location is perfect and very close to the town centre. I walked everywhere. Don't miss the town park which is nearby and provides a shortcut (and easier route) to the train station. We stayed at the Springfields as a family (2+1 child) whilst visiting Horsham for a family party.

The hotel itself is more of a B+B than a hotel and is purpose built. We found the rooms comfortable enough and the breakfast was good. The main positive however is the service. The lady that owns/runs the hotel went out of her way to make us comfortable and help us with travel arrangements which I really appreciate.

If I had to be critical, we were on the back upstairs and did have some noise from the pub next door (a band were on) but that eventually stopped and wasn't too bad with the windows closed. It may have been a different story in summer if we had to keep the windows open.

Nice little accommodation in a great location, walking distance to the adorable town centre and the Horsham train station. A little expensive for what you get, but proximity to the train station and town centre were important to me. It’s an older building, nothing fancy, no frills, but very clean and tidy. Room was well appointed with everything you’d need. The bed was too hard for my liking, a mattress topper would have been more comfortable, but that’s a personal preference.
