Churchfield House — Attraction in Hyndburn

Splendid! I had afternoon tea with ladies from our craft class. The volunteers who work here couldn't be more pleasant. They are obviously very proud of the immaculate building and its facilities. . There are lovely gardens on the outside that add to the beauty of the building and looking past the houses there are views peeping through of our pennine hills. Back to the inside and the afternoon tea of fresh home made food was lovely.. cakes of bake off quality and pots of fresh, piping hot tea served in china...

Pleasant Surprise after a Local Walk. Run primarily by Volunteers, This Historic building has lots of uses, and recently started opening for Tea and Coffee Lunches all baked by some wonderful and Friendly People. Always someone plodding around doing something. I have been During Craft Fares, and Photographic Exhibitions too. Great For local Historians, And small groups for meetings etc. My Biggest Praise goes to the people who run it. Kindness...

What a fantastic historical gem of a place. We had afternoon tea this afternoon with fizz, lovely sandwiches, trifle and cakes and pastries as well as plenty of tea and coffee.
