Tir Prince Raceway — Attraction in Kinmel Bay and Towyn

Went there today to use the go karts after being left waiting 10 minute for some body to actually come over a male wearing a yellow jacket short in height stocky with a Liverpool accent approached me told me my son was not tall enough to use them I then stood my son next to the measuring sign provided we could both see he was in fact tall enough at this point the attendant said he still is not going on the go karts because he didn't believe my son would be able to drive them and if he crashed I would end up taking legal action against him he then walked off I could clearly see him laughing at us with other attendants I wouldn't mind but I was the only customer there at this point I would of thought they would be glad of my custom I am totally disgusted at how I have been treated today and would not recommend...

A good market selling all the usual goods , also a car boot sale on the same well maintained site. There is also a medium sized fair ground so there is something for all the family. The car park is £2 for the whole day. The fair ground rides are paid for by credits on a pre paid card or a wristband which was £13 so you can spend as much or as little as you want. I found this very good value . There is also a go cart track which is not included on the wristband but was £6 per session which was reasonable. There was also a food area serving burgers etc and the kids meals were £3.50 including a drink. I found this a good family day out, good value, good fun and I'd recommend this place. Our children are 6 and 11...

As a kid we moved to wales back in the 90s which am guessing was the hayday for Tir Prince. Lots of memories on being dropped off here during the school holidays to amuse myself for the day with my brother. We loved the go-karts which went really fast. They have a place opposite which used to be ko karts as well.

They have a market on every week which is great. A mixture of carboot and market stalls selling all sorts. A nice morning out! They also have the race course but not sure if its still going to be honest.

They now have an amusement park with decent rides which will make your stomach turn, which I think is the point!

Fantastic day out. Great location for all the tourists during the summer, locals...
