Inflata Nation Inflatable Theme Park Huddersfield — Attraction in Kirklees

Unfortunately before today it was 5 stars. We've been here several times and loved every experience. Staff have always been super lovely and helpful. Gone above and beyond, especially when I lost my Pandora bracelet on my last visit, the staff were absolutely amazing. Today on the other hand completely the opposit. Hounded continuously by 2 members of staff for taking 2 mins break on any of the inflatables. Apparently nobody can sit anywhere inside the inflatables? When asked why we've never been told this before, after sitting quite regularly during all our visits (we have lots of photos of us having a relax after a game of hide and seek etc) we were then collared by the manager who tried threatening us with being removed instead of answering the question, he was told unless he wanted to hand me back all my money for the session, I'd carry on. He stated the rules are on the safety video, but then backtracked when I told him that never once in all our visits had we been shown a safety video. He then continued to watch me and my 3 kids telling certain individuals that he was looking for me. Me in bright red stood in front of him and asked why he was looking for me, he then said he wasn't, yet I'd had 3 people as well as my oldest child tell me he was looking for me? Instead he continued to watch me and my kids along with the blonde lass with glasses! Shame how your staff ruined this session for my family and others! The other lady that you proceeded to abuse for sitting down was a first timer at your establishment unlike myself and also wasn't shown the safety video! So when you want to pull random rules up, make sure your staff have actually shown everyone the video before you proceed to ruin their session. The other lady said she won't be returning to your establishment after that and I'm not sure I will be either which is a shame as we really liked your place and have used you regularly in the last few months.

Went for a birthday party, staff walking round swinging a Dyson hoover at the bottom of children’s slides, two girls were kicked out of the queue for a slide because there was younger children waiting? (The girls were 13) some staff running the party were helpful however they refused to let you cut the cake yourself and when they insisted on cutting it they cut it not according to how we specified and into borrower size pieces. The member of staff with curly hair swinging a Dyson hoover around was pulling odd looks at certain children and acting like King Kong of the park. There is also a rule allowing kids to pelt hard plastic balls full speed at anyone they see and if they get hurt all they have to do it apologise? This was repeated issue as children were coming complaining about others hurting them. Food was standard, pizza and chips orange juice and water offered. Ice cream for dessert. Even before we got into the room there was an awful smell like b.o and fruit?? No windows in the party room and a very tight space for lots of parents and children to fit. On a certain slide children have to sit with arms crossed, which I can understand in certain scenarios but not when a child is being shouted at to cross their arms, unsupporting them, forcing them down the slide into young children already at the bottom?? Overall, if you love odd rules and the smell of fresh b.o in a supposedly clean room, this is the place for you! Can’t fault the party coordinators other than their cake cutting skills, just certain staff on the bouncy castle to be wary of. Kids get a bit bored after around 20 mins, running in and out. Check in was very easy, no issue. Very little communication from team member though. Maybe some extra training?

Bounce experience wasn't what we expected, although a few staff were present, it also seemed to be a great time for a pair to cuddle each other.... a lot! No actual policing of rough behaviour of older children around younger children. Several older boys, maybe even young men, easily 13-16 had to be asked by myself to be careful jumping over barriers as we had a 4&7 year old hiding behind them playing with the cannons. No staff present to give warnings etc. The session was also a supposedly quiet session.

Cafe experience was OK, again very little communication and a smile wouldn't go a miss with your staff!

Centre was fairly clean, table are was not and myself and others complained about the mess. Still nothing was cleaned until we were getting ready to leave and again. Near the back of the seating area seemed to be another good place for staff to cuddle each other.
