Borrans Park — Attraction in Lakes

Lovely park with a view onto, as well as into the lake. It's a shame about the fallen trees not being picked up sooner as the path was blocked and the trail was muddy from people needing to use the grass... I asked a nice little bird to wait for me to take a photograph, and it did! We enjoyed the walk in the nicer winter weather. It's worth a visit. The Roman Fort is right next to it as well!...

A lovely scenic park near the North end of Lake Windermere. There are small beaches from which you can swim and launch kayaks and paddle boards. Had a great time in the Lake District in Borrans Park when we had a heat wave in July. It was so picturesque, I was amazed by the stone houses as we where approaching this area via car.
