Slime factory, paint a car, science shows and so much more🎨✨ Plus, there’s loads we didn’t show in the video👇 🎪 In the Imagination Village there’s a supermarket, car wash, vets and so much more, including an interactive sound board, sensory tree and TV station to act out the news 🦖 There’s a small outdoor area with a sand pit, gem sifting and dinosaur bones 🎨 The spin bike to make paintings, green screen to choose the background of your own photos and interactive music stations 🌋 The science section has a magic sand section where you can create rivers, volcanoes and even meteors using your hands 🧼 Not forgetting the slime section which is as chaotic as you’d imagine because the kids all LOVE this bit! What we don’t show in the video is just how many hands on activities you get as part of your ticket – we made our own snow, learnt how to create bath bombs, designed our own slime and set off our own little spinning butterfly 🦋 The way it works is you have 45 minute time slots in each section and make your way through. There’s little cafes in the first two sections too, and toilets at each point too. Massive thank you to @imaginethat for inviting us down to try it out ✨ #gifted 📍Imagine That! 🗺️ L13 1EH, Liverpool 🎟️ It cost around £59.80 for a family of 4 when we visited, but there’s different prices and offers so worth checking Imagine That’s website for all the details

📍 Imagine That! Liverpool L13 1EH I think it’s worth the cost! We did the toddler hangout session and could stay for up to 4 hours. There’s so much to do; activities, demos etc. Anything you make you can take home. Thought it was really cute that we got a Christmassy photo print. #kidsdaysout #toddlerdaysout #fundaysout #christmasdaysout #xmasactivities #mumsoftiktok #parentsontiktok #familyfun #daysoutuk #daysoutnorthwest

Amazing for kids, terrible for adults!

Such a fun creative place. Absolutely loads for the kids to do. Every inch is covered in creative play activities. Imagination play, art creative play, water play, science and learning: the facilities are amazing and very high quality.

Lovely, helpful staff. Really fantastic place.

It is such a shame that they fall down on a couple of areas but areas which are so key: access and comfort.

Queueing system - They have X number of people allowed in. After that it is a one in / one out system. So by 10:30am when it's full, you just have to sit there. For possibly hours as most people spend a couple of hours there. It is a bit if a nightmare with kids! I went this morning and there was a queue outside the door 30 mins before it opened. There is a place down south called Imagination Street where you book in for two hour play sessions. So you turn up at your set slot. That would be a better system for people with young kids.

Seating - There are a few benches dotted about for adults to sit on but not many. As the kids play for ages it is a bit of a pain and adults are sort of wandering round bored and a bit in the way. 😂 Same with the cafes. Not enough seating or tables.

Cafes / Food - overpriced and ridiculous waits. You're not allowed to take your own food in so have to use their facilities. £5.50 for jacket potato and tuna mayo. Took 30 mins to arrive.Once we waited an hour and ten minutes for nachos. The staff were really nice about it. But unfortunately it has happened every time we have gone there.

Impossible to get a seat. Chairs and tables so squashed in that you can't walk through without knocking into every person. There are two cafes and three seating areas. Sounds like great facilities but every time I go there are...

A fabulous science and discovery Centre for the young ones.

Thjs place must be pre booked. Ther is also easy accessible parking which is a bonus.

As you walk in to give your booking reference, we are greeted well by a member of staff who take us through the doors where can hang coats and leave prams. As the museum is set in to different zones, staff member kindly take our belongings to the final zone to make it easier to retrieve our belongings.

Each zone is different, with role play sections such as vets restaurants and supermarket shopping, to arts and crafts where you can paint your own magnets and paint a car, as well as water play where you can collect golden nuggets and recieve a sticker as a reward. Our personal favourite was the magic snow room, where children can create their very own magic snow to take home and flying snow that they can dance around in - lots of fun! The final zone is also fab where kids can create their very own slime to take home. Staff also put on a little show to make a volcano erupt. In the end they can also take a bubble solution home as well as all the arts and crafts they made throughout the day. Outdoor play is also available, from construction areas and sandpits to dinosaur fossil digging. There is plenty to do for all ages. And it's fun for parents to get involved in aswell!

Highly recommend to all. A great day out for...

I came here with my partner and his two daughters - one 9 and one probably around 7. I felt like they were too old for the activities here, especially the first room which is just a playground. Most things were missing or broken, meaning it was hard for children to learn and play in the way intended by the centre. It's in the middle of nowhere and we arrived early using public transport. There is nowhere to sit, there is nothing to do, you are just left until they admit you into the building. The food prices were OK, what I expected for a "captive audience" and the offerings were the usual brown food that kids tend to prefer (there is a vegan option!). My biggest concern was the slime room - for a start nothing was properly measured so when the activator was added too much was used and it turned into a rubbery lump. When asked, the staff member said the activator was borax - which is a reprotoxin, the excess that was left in the slime pot could be VERY harmful to children if ingested. I am very disappointed they did not use an alternative. The staff, however, were incredibly friendly and motivated and engaged really well with the children. Also there was an event on which had crafting stations which was the highlight of the visit...
