It was my Mum's 60th Birthday on the 14th of August and I had very specific instructions as to what she would like (being the big 6 0!) I had spent days looking at images and websites that sold large blue glazed pots with no luck in finding any that I liked. Mum loves the garden and wanted an unusual pot for a pink rose bush and I finally found this gorgeous pot at Battersea Flower Station and I just knew that it would be perfect. So ... I ordered it without hesitation. However, in my excitement I completely overlooked that I lived miles outside the area they delivered to! I couldn't believe it! I was gearing myself up for disappointment when I had an email from John Schofield who explained that I could either have a full refund or he would personally ask around the local couriers to see if he could get it delivered in time for Mum's Birthday. After a few emails and phone calls later John had arranged everything for me and at such a good price, as I live all the way down in Rochester! I felt that I was at the top of John's to do list because he knew how important it was for me to get Mum's gift on time. I received the pot on the morning of the 13th and I presented it to Mum on time for her Birthday. She absolutely Loved it! Thank you so much John for your hard efforts and for your kindness. You made everything so easy and stress free and Mum had a...

I looked up Garden Centres on the map that are close to Victoria and found this one at Battersea - it is a relatively reasonable distance on bus 170 and an ideal afternoon out for several hours. It was based just off the busy road heading to Battersea Park. The staff members were very friendly and welcoming; there was a vast array of plants and Xmas trees and a few indoor greenhouses towards the back end of the garden. I was mainly here to have a look around; I also purchased a small Xmas tree to keep throughout the festive season (Ā£3.99 for a mini one) and a small container to go with it. I really enjoyed the variety of plants/herbs and the range of Xmas Trees (mostly from Norway) seemed appealing. The garden centre itself was quite narrow, and there was not much chance to socially distance so better to wear a mask, in my opinion, even though it is mostly outside! An ideal time to visit during the winter, to get into the...

The place itself is beautiful but the customer service isn't the best. I've been twice as needed something specific and wanted to support businesses in my local area especially with a number closing in the past couple of months. But for whatever reason I can never seem to get any service and so won't be going back .... I guess I'm sticking with online shopping.

Thank you for your reply and just to confirm I didn't and still don't have an issue. However, just as you stated none of your colleagues can remember speaking to me is the reason for my review and disappointment. I requested the help and your colleague said he was coming back and never did. Only when I was leaving did he apologize and explain he had to stand at the door, if there were other members of staff maybe another individual could've assisted, rather than me just waiting for help that was never...

I cannot rate this place enough!! I went with my colleague on a mission to brighten up our office with an array of plants. All the staff were super friendly and helpful and John was an absolute star, we struck gold with him. He was full of recommendations and great ideas for the various spaces around the office, he definitelty has a great eye, even helping us with pots and foliage which would go with our colour scheme and logo. He has an indepth knowledge about plants and their care. When the plants arrived they came in tip top condition and in beautiful pots. Arrangements for delivery were super smooth and professional. The misters and watering cans are really nice too. And there is a lovely card shop on the site. It makes for a lovely outing to visit the centre, I would love to go back! Definitely highly recommend!!!

Outrageous. I bought 3 flowers that respectively costed 4Ā£ + Ā£4 + Ā£6 = Ā£14, picture attached, the lady offered to add some green to make the bouquet look fuller. I added a card. The total ended up being Ā£25 for this sad little bouquet. The green apparently was Ā£7.50 and she didn’t tell me before adding it and the card Ā£3.50. When I told her she should have told me she asked me ā€œshould I take it outā€? We are talking about grass here nothing more! Also clearly she only had leftovers from the weekend in a very bad state that she should have sold for a discounted price. It's around the corner from where I live and I am never going back. People in London are going crazy! I didn’t buy the olive tree because I thought it was too expensive and then with 3 sad little flowers this lady tricked me into spending the same.
