I had a long 3 week stay at the travel lodge, my first time. I had a wonderful experience. Staff were friendly and helpful at the reception desk.

The room was really clean, thanks to the polish lady whose name I can't remember. The radiators just need the dust blowing out but the bed was really comfortable. In general, I thought they kept the building really clean, and there is always someone around which is nice.

The location was excellent with the shops, supermarkets, restaurants and train station all within walking distance with the busses being frequent.

The only downside was the WiFi for me. I found buying additional WiFi a pain to set up from the web page. It was fine with the inital booking, but the add on seemed to take a long time to set up. I don't know why the WiFi can't be included in the price like other places and why you are only limited to 2 devices. You get a small amount free but that is not generally enough. Travel lodge just need to sort that out as everywhere else is free WiFi.

I had never thought to use the travel lodge before but I would definately do...

Avoid if possible! This is a sub-standard hotel that relies heavily upon its location to charge unreasonable prices for what it provides.

I checked in here last week and was greeted by a very helpful and friendly member of staff, though the experience rapidly went downhill when I checked into my room. It was around 20 degrees outside (not super warm) but the room was roasting! Travelodge are well aware of this as there was a sign saying how windows had been left open, duvet removed, lights kept off, etc. to make the room cooler. The bathroom was dated and the toilet felt like it was going to break any second. The shower curtain didn't tuck into the shower tray so water dripped everywhere during the shower (a remarkable amount dripped given the shower head was mostly blocked and didn't release much water at all).

I expected a lot more, having paid almost £100 per room...

My experience at this hotel since I arrived has been very positive, as the reception staff are very friendly and try to help you with everything you need. I highlight the cordiality and good treatment of the blonde woman at reception, as well as the kindness, closeness, and friendliness of ERASMO, with whom I had the opportunity to speak several times. He has a very pleasant demeanor. The room is nice and comfortable. The location of the hotel is great, as the train station is just a 2-minute walk away. I really like that area of Clapham Junction because it's easy to get around to any part of London. Additionally, it's a very picturesque neighborhood and it's wonderful to stay there. I definitely hope to return to London soon and will stay at...

The service at the reception was great, the staff was really helpful. The room was a bit weird, there was no exhaust fan in the shower so you had to have the window open at all times. The room itself had a horrible smell most of the stay and I could not find the source of it, maybe just damp smell from the bathroom? One of the towels had brown marks on it so that wasn't nice. The worse thing about the room was the power plugs... Well the one power plug they had which is far away from the bed. It was so hard to check my alarms in the morning because my phone was far away. A lot of noise from traffic as well but that is just because it's located on a busy road and next to the rail way tracks

Located less than a 5 minute walk, from Clapham Junction Station. Good location, if you need quick access to the station or want fast travel into Central London. Rooms are very basic, bed and bathroom (shower only unless you’re in a family room), small freeview TV. As expected, you will be hearing trains all night (window open or closed). The hotel has very little ventilation and rooms can become very stuffy, the window has a security lock on so can only be opened ajar. The staff do understand this and did provide a fan which was very helpful. Our keycard stopped working 2-3 times which is slightly annoying, however, the staff are very friendly and will do what they can to help you.

Decent and budget place to stay if you are looking for an overnight stay. Our standard room was decent and a bit small, washroom was nice and clean. Nothing fancy or luxurious. It was hot and humid in London over the last weekend and I missed AC dearly. Although a table fan was provided but AC would have been nice. Check-in was super smooth and quick. Location is great, just a minute or two walk from Clapham Junction and bus stops. The facilities provided in room was bare minimum which is okay as per the cost. Towels were provided and bodywash was fitted in shower area
