A proper, in a mug, cuppa! We had walked from the Travelodge along Battersea park road, and toyed with queuing for the 'posh' cafe next door.......don't bother, Cafe Blanca have it all. The menu is good, not too big, and is cooked fresh. I had the poached eggs with feta and avocado. Soft, runny eggs, fresh avocado, and feta all working well together. The toast was nice (could have done with more than one slice). My partner had the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, all was tasty, she said, but she also said another slice of toast would have been her only ask. Nice to see a steady footfall too.

My boyfriend and I went here for breakfast before going to the nearby Battersea Boot event - never been before but so glad we went! The decor and general ambiance was really nice and cosy - the waitresses and chef were all very nice and attentive and the food was exactly what was needed! And the prices!! All in all it was a great experience and we’ll definitely be going back if we’re in the area again.

We had our first English breakfast during our trip at Cafe Blanca. Food was good, dairy free alternatives for your coffee and/or tea is available as well. Staff was really nice and it was a super a home-y and cosy spot. Price was decent for what we got and they’re also one of the few places nearby that’s open early for breakfast. Free wi-fi is available on the establishment.

Cafe Blanca is a very rare place indeed. It has staff that actually care about the cafe. (Most of the other cafe's around London have staff that come and go so quickly they don't even have time to learn the customer's names.. but Cafe Blanca has a regular local clientele that obviously one the unpretentious atmosphere there. As well as this they offer a good range of food at quite the best prices in Battersea. They will make you what you'd like to order. As a vegetarian I'm able to eat there regularly and they have a good range of very well priced food for me from baked potatoes to wraps and salads. As well as this they have a dog friendly policy which is fabulous as there is almost always a dog or two inside or out. They tend to leave the TV on but will turn it off if you ask them nicely. Best of all they are aware of the plastic epidemic and this in one local cafe where you can get a great juice, to drink in - in a MUG (!) with no plastic straw. The owners are all friendly and very tolerant of the locals who can sometimes be a little 'challenging.' Couldn't recommend the great staff and this friendly little corner cafe more highly. A rare jewel in London's selection of anonymous...

Been visiting here at least twice a year for last 4 years or so. Went last Saturday - such a disappointment in terms of food offer. Staff (2 young women) were lovely, welcoming and helpful. But the quality of the food has gone down. Ordered eggs benedict on white toast with bacon added. Received 2 eggs (undercooked) on white doughy undercooked toast with strips of 'plastic' processed bacon, all topped off with 2 big dollops of sauce which was cold and obviously from a jar/bottle. Could not eat. However prices are very keen, coffee was good and staff were lovely. Such a pity that the decent fresh ingredients that used to be...
