Rude staff and ridiculous rules! I had the worst experience here. I made a reservation online to celebrate my birthday. I paid £80 deposit. I then got an email with the rules this place enforces. The most absurd being I can't eat my birthday cake on the premises (but I can bring it and have my guests sing happy birthday to me). This sounded silly to me because why would I carry a cake all the way there to not eat it and have to carry it home before I can cut it for my guests? So I called the restaurant to enquire. I was told that this rule is in place because they lose money if people eat their cake there because they already serve desserts. This was laughable to me because 1) how can they guarentee that we were going to order dessert anyway? And 2)we will more than cover the price of not buying a dessert by ordering multiple cocktails. Anyway I wanted to cancel my booking so I can have my birthday elsewhere because I've never seen a restaurant have such a rule. I was told by the woman not to cancel and she would talk to the manager and call me back in 30 minutes. I never got the call back. I called the next day and was told (I assume by that manager) that they were closed. I said since I have him on the phone now can he talk to me? He said no and said to email them. I did. No response, even though they were posting on Instagram. I called the day after that and he picked up again and said "ahhh yes you're the girl that called complaining that she can't eat her cake here". I found this very rude. And he told me I cant get my deposit back within 14 days. I only made the booking 3 days earlier! He said he'll call me back once he spoke to the woman who I initially spoke to. He never called me back. Eventually I got an email from her saying I will get my deposit back. I still haven't received my deposit, its been nearly 2 weeks. I finally got to visit here on a quiet Sunday afternoon, after hearing so much about it.

We were welcomed so warmly by Charlotte, who made us feel right at home. I didn't get his name, but our coats were also asked for and taken from us so we could enjoy the velvet seating with no excess.

The drinks and food were on point. I had a Sweet Love mocktail. Food and drinks were top tier quality. Seasoned well, which caters mostly to the demographic of people that mostly dine here.

I opted for the steak, which was medium to well done, it was seasoned to perfection. They season whereas a lot of other steak places don't so it ends up quite bland.

I didn't go for any starters or desserts as I was on a bit more of a budget this time round, but got to try my friends dishes, so can honestly say, food was tasty as hec. 😋

At one point, my small table of ladies and I were the only ones in the restaurant, so was nice having that extra attention.

We were there for hours talking, and vibing. The toilets and general decor are instagram friendly, and the whole place is clean.

Really recommend here for eating out. Would like to come back at another time of day, maybe more evening and a weekday perhaps or Saturday and see how...

My friend had his birthday at the restaurant  and we had to pay in advance and also place our order in advance as it was a big group, at first i was like whats all the fuss about cant we just do it on the day but truss me it was a total vibe, we were treated like first class citizens as in Royal treatment.

The way they didnt even mess up anyone order as it was a big group was very impressive the food temperature was on point , taste 👌,  presentation amazing, music , everything was on point. The restaurant itself looked really nice, i posted it on my social and a lot of people were asking about it

There was this particular staff named "CHARLOTTE" she was amazing from when we walked in till we left she made sure we were okay, checking up on us and she also vibed with us. It was lit. And let's not forget the Dj, he just knew the right music to play. He was on job.
